Goodbye Capitol Limited, Hello Pittsburgh.

I arrived in Pittsburgh only 5 minutes late at 5:10 AM this morning, having made up most of the delays through Indiana. Thank you to Norfolk Southern who despite having a real railroad full of freight trains, managed to get us through in snowy weather with very little delay.

The Pennsylvanian is sitting on a stub track in the station, looking ready to roll. I waited a few minutes in the Pittsburgh station this morning, before walking over in the snow to the Starbucks inside the US Steel building. This Starbucks location is closest to the Amtrak station, only two city blocks away, and opens up at 5:30 AM.
